We are so excited to announce a collaboration with Portland, Oregon based artists Seth Neefus and Mark Warren Jacques. Together they have created the Free Life Center, an inspiring modular mobile experiential art installation made entirely of reclaimed and salvaged materials. The center will hold not only sounds, drawings, paintings, and video projections from Mark and Seth but will also provide a space for guest music & dance performances, workshops, lectures, skateboard jams, jam sessions, laughing, conversation, arty talk, and all sorts of good times.
They will be taking the Free Life Center on tour, starting out on the West Coast in Portland and will travel all the way from Vancouver, B.C. down to Los Angeles, CA. Check out their tour schedule and if they are stopping in your neck of the woods, stop by and show some support. For all of you in Portland, on Wednesday the 26th of May celebrate the launch of the Free Life Center with Seth and Mark at Holocene from 6pm-Midnight.
Seth and Mark designed a shirt for us that we will be up on our new online shop in a few days. We will be launching our featured artists section in the shop and are absolutely honored to have their piece be the first of many future collaborations. A Mystery In Common donated shirts for the artists to take on tour with them, but if you wont be able to see the Free Life Center on the road you can still order the shirts from us and know that proceeds from every sale of their shirt will go to support the the Free Life Center.
The shirts came out looking great! We printed them on a blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester and swear these are some of the softest and best looking shirts we’ve produced. Check back in a couple of days to see how they turned out!
